Introduction to Assemblies of God Missions (2 ECTS)
Description
This is an introductory course in the science of missions. It is a survey of the theology, history, and
methods of Christian missions in general and within the Assemblies of God. There is a special
emphasis on recent developments, crucial issues, current trends, and missions as they are carried
out through national and local churches.
As a supplement to the printed text, a CD titled “The Missions Awareness Team: Checklist for
Building Missions in the Local Church” has been included to demonstrate how to effectively promote
missions in the local church. The CD was authored by missionary Paul Brannan and produced by
U.S. Relations, Assemblies of God World Missions, General Council of the Assemblies of God,
Springfield, Missouri.
