Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to: 1. Identify the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual effects that relationships bring to the life of a minister. 2. Describe the priorities of conduct that can lead to effective relationships both 3. at home and within the church. 4. Identify boundaries that help the minister maintain healthy relationships and 5. avoid destructive choices that can undermine his or her ministry. 6. Define practical principles for pulpit ministry. 7. Explain the process of forgiveness and why it is essential to healthy ministry. 8. Define a minister’s accountabilities and how each contributes to healthy ministry. 9. Explain the biblical role for the minister in regarding interaction with the community. 10. Describe effective approaches to evangelism and how to avoid creating 11. barriers between unsaved family members and the gospel. 12. Identify ways for the local church to respond in the midst of community hardship. 13. Define personal integrity and explain how it can be maintained effectively 14. Describe the difficulties of persevering in ministry and the components of a foundation that can lead to long-term endurance.
